Transformer-based Multimodal Spectral Imaging

Direct Method

Our reagent-free technology eliminates the need for growth media, stains, or dyes. The technology analyzes samples immediately following a simple filtration step, detecting and identifying microorganisms in their natural state. This non-destructive approach bypasses traditional enrichment and the risk of cross-contamination associated with manual sample handling. By removing these process-heavy steps, we provide an objective, automated analysis that preserves the integrity of the sample while delivering a final result in only 10 minutes.

Biophotonics

We built a proprietary hardware that uses dual-wavelength illumination to trigger intrinsic fluorescence from microorganisms. By capturing signals across the visible, UV, and near-infrared spectrums, we gather a unique "spectral fingerprint" for every organism at the single-cell level to feed our model.

The Transformer Model

Our Transformer-based foundational model has been engineered to analyze the complex relationships between multi-spectral signals and spatial context. Unlike standard algorithms, our AI evaluates signals from nearby pixels, background elements, and adjacent particles to precisely account for biological variability and environmental stress. It has been trained on millions of fields of view across diverse matrices, stress conditions, and environmental factors, broadening the spectrum of observed signatures.
